Clinical Assessments & Psychometrics
Psycho-educational assessments help to understand a child's cognitive abilities and academic skills. In addition, these assessments help to identify and diagnose a school-going child with a specific learning disability, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), developmental disorders, an intellectual disability, autism, and pervasive developmental disorder. It also helps to identify social, emotional, behavioral, and psychological stressors like parental neglect, domestic violence, sexual abuse, and cultural changes.
The consultant will understand the child's learning style by gathering qualitative information from the parents and school teachers. These assessments determine the child's strengths and weaknesses, and giftedness.
Psycho-educational and assessment could help in early educational planning, individualized educational planning, intervention, and support.
And treating the individual with appropriate intervention. Individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and group therapy are the different psychotherapeutic services provided by the center.
